Valeria Grzybowski, daughter of Michal and Stanislawa was often times called Wally. This is because Valeria in Polish is Waleria. Thus, the name Wally.

The John Grzybowski, Sr. family legally changed their name to Gersey sometime after the birth of their daughter Eleanor (see document). Mae, Rose and Eleanor all have the last name of Grzybowski on their birth certificates. John (Jon),Jr., and Florence were born Gersey.

The Miliszkiewicz family legally changed their last name to Miles (see document).

Milton Wolff (husband of Eleanor) is better known as Clarence and didn't realize his name was Milton until he applied for Social Security.

Florence (Flo) is often called Peg/Peggy. A name brought on by a few friends who decided one day to give themselves names all beginning with the letter P.

Rose Miles is better known as Rosette.

Halana Misiewicz is better known as Helen.

The Peter Grzybowski,Sr. family changed their name to Gryboski but this was not done legally.

In 1982, the Zmed family changed their name from Smith to Zmed.
