Since 3 jears i've been buisy investigate our familytree.
The beginning goes back to about the year 1617.
In the ftime we were at the 80 years war with te Spanish.
It was also a religius war were protestants seperate from the Katholics.
There for many historical papers were lost.
Before this war you can hardly get acces for more history.
Only that the beginning was aprox. arround 1200 in a polder
were people began to built dikes and sattled down.
Later arround 1600 we know that a part of the family moved about 20 km eastern to Neder Hemert and became Patriciers, and had a wapon 3 ox heads in black on a white shield, and were justified
to carry a wapon on there helmet.
The most used names were Willem and Gerard.........
