I am looking for my roots off the family "van Wissen".
I am born in the town Leiden in Holland in 1955 and lived until 1997 in the Town Wassenaar.
The family heraldic is read weaponschield with 3 silver arrows left pointed, and one arrow placed at the top of the helmet.
It was given in 1105 to a framer who has fought in a war for his "wis en waragtig" duty. He became a knight.
From my day of birht I searched back in family history until 1645.
I am very pleased if people who know something about the family history could help me further.
Also I am very intressed about the family name "van Wissen"in other countries.
