We have found so far that we are related to the Vandykes, Adams, Keenes, Lamies,Richardsons, Turners, Millers, Whiteds, Boyds, Perkins, Jacksons, and Looneys. We still have a lot of research to do. We know so far that Elkana Alexander Boyd was a school teacher who married his student, Virginia Carolina Jackson. He was in the Civil War. They had children, my grandfather, Pheola Sherman Boyd, Earl Boyd,Celia Boyd Webb and Myra Boyd Looney.
