About Our Family Research


The Josef Vampola family came to the USA in 1885 from Volesna, Bohemia. Wife Frances Sterba, children Josef, John,Anton, Vaclav and Mary.
John is my grandfather.
A reunion was held in 1988 in Bee, Nebraska where over 200 relatives gathered.
Have located a distant relative in Czech Republic by name of Josef Vampola. He has been helping me find more about the family.
