Julius Ferdinand Hollenbeck of Grundy County, Illinois was my
grandfather. He was born June 11,l852 and died Mar 14, l931.
He was married to Frances Maria Kelso in l875. They
had 6 children--Julius Iziah born l875, George Albert born l879,
Frank Eugene born 1883, (both George and Frank drowned in the
Illinois river in l896.
Bert George Albert was born l879 and died in l959. He had 3 children
Myrtle Mae was born June l889 and died in l930. She married Roy McLaughln in l913 and they 5 children.
Pearl Isabelle wss born april l893 and died April l964 and was married to Daniel Edward Claypool and they had 9 children.
Goldie Arilla (who was my mother) was born Aug. 2, l898 and died
Jun l6, l970. She married Ray Clair Van Zandt on Jan 4, l922. He was born on Jan 4, l898 and died Jan 18, l974.
They had two children: Virginia Ione (Van Zandt) Rossi and Linda
Lou (Van Zandt) Waller.
I am trying to locate where my grandparents where born and their
parents and grandparents came from.
