Both my parents, Marcel Van Poucke and Emilda Vercruyssen were born in belguim. My father was born in Antwerp in 1932, my mother in St.Gillis in 1939. They both immigrated to Canada with their famillies. My grandmother and grandfather on my mothers side are Albert Vercruyssen and Leontine Van Poucke, My grandparents on my fathers side are Adolf Van Poucke and Elza Robbins. I am looking for background information on my ancestors. I still have family in Belguim, mostly distant cousins. My mother's uncle Edward Van Poucke was in the war in Belguim and he died in the hands of the germans mercy. My family came to Canada by way of ship, I think my dad came in 1952 and MY MOM IN 1953.
