I have been researching both sides of my family, mostly with origins in County Mayo, Ireland. The names are McHale, Gallagher, Gillespie, Ruddy, Ruane, Kearney, O'Donnell, O'Boyle and a Lamond family that is Scottish in origin but appears to have moved from Ulster to Mayo in the 18th century. In the course of my research, I have acquired numerous RC church records which I post on my two informational websites: irishhereandthere.com and kilfiancrosskin.com. The first focuses on Ballina. The second contains primarily Kilfian and Crossmolina records. Neither is in any way complete but I am constantly updating.
