VanOrnum Descendants of William and Nancy Woodward

Updated August 18, 2002

About Our Family Research

I'm looking for any VanOrnum descendants of William and Nancy Woodward, who came to America on June 11, 1833 from Lodge Green, Gunnerside, Parish of Grinton Yorkshire.

William and Nancy Woodward had seven children: William, John, Thomas, James, Ruth, Martha, and Mary.

Mary Woodward, a first-generation Woodward, married Henry VanOrnum on September 20, 1850. They had three sons: William, James and Ellsworth. One of these sons, William, married Julia Clark September 18, 1873. They had four sons and three daughters; one of these sons was Arthur L. VanOrnum. Arthur VanOrnum married Edith Elliot on November 26, 1907 and they had one son, Virgil, in 1909.

Virgil VanOrnum was my grandfather. I am looking for any VanOrnum descendants; others related to:
