My name is Bridget Marie Vasquez and I am currently trying to research my paternal side of my family tree.My father Henry Vasquez was born to Catherine Dooley and Thomas Morrison September 3,1942,in St.John''s Nwfoundland.I have little information on his biological father with the exception that he was stationed in Newfoundland during WW11 and that he was from Scotland and in the RAF.He was killed in the line of duty.My grandmother had two children with him,my father and his brother Richard.My grandmother Catherine remarried to my grandfather Benjamin Vasquez.They had one child together Lauretta.My grandmother emigrated to the United States and settled in LaSalle IL,USA.
Her parents were Thomas Dooley and Ellen Wisemen both of St Johns Newfoundland.Her father was a fisherman and her mother was a midwife.Ellen later emigrated to the Us with Catherine and lived with her,she still retained her Newfoundland citizenship.Now,my grandmother,my father and my uncle were all born at home,so I have been unable to find any kind of Birth records for any of them.Her father Thomas passed away in the 1960's ,he was hit by a car. THe information that I am looking for would be on the Dooley Wisemen and Morrison clans.If any one has any information I would greatly appreciate your help.I am planning on posting another family tree taht will soley deal with my maternal side of the family
