I am pretty new to genealogy searching. My mother asked me to do her family tree; little did I know the quest I was about to undertake. This family search has turned into both a pleasure and a pain. This search has opened windows to a past I knew nothing about and opened doors to new made friends and family members. Mom's request has turned out to be the best gift a parent could give a child.

It is my hope that this site will help you open or close doors to your family research. The family stories about being related to Davy Crockett has not been proven. What I have found in my search is that there are two very seperate lines of Crocketts; a northern line and a southern line. I contine my quest to find a link. My McIntyre line is the biggest ROAD BLOCK I have encountered. WELCOME,
