I have researched my mother's family for years. I have gone back to about 1860's in Mexico. I have lots of names and records of the Esparza family. We are looking for my mother's lost uncle, Genaro Esparza. The "Esparza Family" in Corona, Ca have an annual family reunion every year. Our family came from Villa Garcia, Zac. and Tlahaulilo, Dur. Mexico. About 1918, brothers Ruperto and Jose Esparza (who were born in Villa Garcia, Zac., around the late 1800's), along with Jose's sons, Juan, Ysabel and Tomas came to CA. They traveled around Calif. working the fields until settling in Corona, Ca about 1920. Jose's other son, Genaro Esparza (born 1901, Thahaulilo)stayed in Mexico with his mother, Maria de Jesus Aguilar. I think they were in the area of San Pedro de las Colonias, Coahuilo, Mex. He has never been found and wish we could locate him and his family. There is alot of Esparza's here in CA. that would like to meet Genaro's family. It would be nice to have them come to our reunion. Next year will our 10th Anninversary (Sept, 2007) reunion. If anyone knows anything about out missing family member, please reply.
