I have researched family connections on the internet through Family Tree Maker, Ancestry, Roots Web and US Gen Web. It has led to finding relatives that I did not know existed. It also led to my husband and myself attending a family reunion last summer in West Virginia on my Father's side of the family. We were pleasantly told that it was the first time that any family member had attended from the northwest. It was very interesting in seeing the area in West Virginia where my Grandparents were born and raised. We visited the cemetery where my great-grandparents are buried and naturally took lots of pictures. I am in the process of researching the following surnames: MUSGROVE, CORROTHERS, FRUM, MATTHEW, MORGAN, HAWKINS, STANLEY, MORAN, HENDERSON, JACOBS, VAN GILDER, GATTRELL, SELBY, BURGESS,DUVALL, CLARK, BUNNER, JOHNSON, MCCONKEY, HAMMOCK, LOOMIS, KISNER, COULSON, SWIGER, STEVENS, FINCH, ROGERS, SHUTTLEWORTH, GALLIHER, GARDNER, GLENN, & WINNINGHAM.
