The Perkins of East Texas are well known in many places. I myself wasn't brought up there, because Daddy was in the Air Force. My younger brothers & sisters were though. John Preston's Daddy was Hillard, birth date unknown. John himself was born about 1880. He married twice. Once to Miss Fanny Brown.
