All the information I have is only by "word of mouth" of the oldest living members of our family. I'm in doubt of some of the "facts" since I have have found some conflicting information as I have reviewed the material.
The Leaper family still has a annual reunion, but is in real danger of being discontinued due to lack of interest of the younger members of the family,and the fact of the dwindling number of people who carry the Leaper name. The reunion is held on the first Sunday of August at the city park in Deshler Ohio.
