I know we hail from Valadi, the remote information I have is that my great great grandfather was a Kathakali exponent and was appointed as the COurt artiste of Maharaja of Kochi.

I don't know which generation settled down in Kerala. Initially they were in Chovura, but later migrated to Thirupunithura . My fathers generation were family of 6 brothers and 3 sisters. I also came to know that our family deity is Sastha , the presiding deity at Lalgudi, Trichy.

I guess my great grandfather's name is Harihara Iyer. My grandfather's name is Subramaniam also known as subba mashay ( Teacher in malayalam). my grandmothers name is Annapurani .
