The information provided was collected by Teresa Savoca VIVONA, wife of Lacy(Alessio) VIVONA. I was sent Aunt Teresa's records by her in 1992, from Kansas City, MO. As of January 1, 2002, I picked up where Teresa left off...I have collected the names and dates of the Jasper(Gaspare)Vivona descendants.As of November 5, 2002, Megan Vivona, the Great Grandaughter of Lacy and Teresa Vivona has located me through genealogy message boards. This makes it possible to bring the famlies of Jasper and Lacy VIVONA, together to continue the updating of the family history that Teresa Vivona so lovingly compiled. What a great accomplishment to have gathered all of these names and dates, from as far back as 1856 in Italy. What a feat to have drawn so much information together during a time when not everyone had telephones, and mail was not sent by the technology we have today ...a time before computers and the internet!I am still hopeful to find the descendants of:
Angelina VIVONA Strada,that would be :Brosie, Rose, Catherine, John and Frances Strada
and Francesca VIVONA Oleno, that would be:Rose , Catherine, Mary, Angeline-Betty, Phillip and Ross Oleno
andAntonina VIVONA Strada, which would include: Rose ,Catherine Frances and Brosie Strada.If you are a descendant of any of this family , please contact me. I am anxious to meet you and exchange notes.
