I can't recall just when I started family research, and I consider myself very much a novice, but as a result of the work so far, I've "met" cousins via the internet and several in person and have traced the families back several centuries.
Some of the names in our tree: Arras, BAUMANN, Blankenship, BLUMENSCHEIN (BLUMENSHINE), Brunner, Connolly, Davidson, DINGELDEIN (DINGLEDINE), Dunn, Eisenhauer, Flechsenhaar, GROLL, Hartmann, Hassler, Heilmann, Hering, Himmel, Hoffmann, Horn, HUBBELL, Jost (Yost), KEIL, Keller, Kempf, KNOELL, Lang, Lehr, Linner, LIST, MANNING, Maurer, MOHR, Moore, Naas, NUNAN, OLD, Panchyk, PFEIFFER, QUINN (County Kerry), Reichert, Rich, Ripper, Rohrbach, SCHIMPF, Smith, SYTHES, TRAUTMANN, Trumpfheller (Drumheller), Vetter, VOIGT, Voorhees, WEHRLE and Wendel.
We used to have family reunions every year, but with all the weddings, christenings (plus one funeral) in the past several years, they have more or less taken the place of reunions.
I welcome help, questions, answers, advice, etc., from anyone interested and am happy to share and "meet" more relatives. Love to hear from you!
