The Wafula's family is a large and yet close family that is predominantly located on two continents, North America and Africa. In North America,the family resides in the USA particularly in the North East part having moved from the North- West. In Africa which forms the craddle for this family, the majority of its members live in Western part of kenya and others in Nairobi and other cities.
Not all members in the diaspora, especially the young ones have had a chance to meet and visit with the families in Kenya due to and not exclusively logistical constraints. The telephone however, has been a great substitute, enabling some members to qualify as "preferred customers" to the long distance carriers.
This site will therefore provide yet another option to further facilitate this relationship with a desire to strengthen the bond. The Wafula family members are members of the Religious Society of Friends' also commonly known as the Quakers. Most Members attended George Fox College in Newberg,Oregon and attended the Newberg's Friends'Church (Big F). Those in Kenya are members of the Elgon Yearly Meeting at Chesamisi, in Bungoma district.
