Wagoner's of W. Va./Ohio --- Bowersock's of Ohio

Updated August 27, 2001

About Our Family Research

Research was started several years ago by Grandmother (Melva Wagoner) in W. Va. and has continued over the last few years. My cousin, Floyd R. Miller, has done alot of research that I will start to enter over the upcoming winter. The Wagoner name has been traced back on my Grandfather's side to Wilhelm Waggoner, who was born in Dutch Flanders, Germany in 1706. He died in 1758 in South Branch, Va.
I have alot of information that I will try to enter or the next few months, and maybe I can hear from long lost relatives on the way. There has not been any type of reunion that I am aware of, but that would be the eventual idea in the future.
I do not have much information on my father's mother's side, except that her maiden name was Melva Ruth Price, from Spencer (?) W. Va.
At this time, there is not much collected on my mother's side (Bowersock). My Grandmother (Ruth) was born in Ravenna, Ohio. There were very little records kept back then, so little has been established. She was divorced from Forrest Bowersock and remarried Robert E. Lee, who I knew as my grandfather. No kidding on the name. This was in Akron, Ohio.
Hopefully, we can make this site grow.
