The Fairmont City Cemetery is located on the corner of Maple Ave. and Baltimore St. in Fairmont, West Virginia. The information which appears on this page is that of the persons interred here.
The cemetery is undergoing reclamation, restoration and registration; it is being reclaimed from the overgrowth of about 90 years, restored to how it might have looked in the 19th century, and registered as an historic landmark.

- Zedikiah Kidwell (1814-1872) (23 KB)
The Honorable Zedikiah Kidwell served as Virginia's Representative to the House for two terms in the 1850s. He was also a doctor and a lawyer, and had taught school as a young man.
- William Monroe Dunnington (1800 - 1879) (130 KB)
Carved to resemeble a tree trunk with drapes and an open book.
- Claude Dunnington (1878 - 1879) (2 KB)
Carved to resemble a wooden cross, with ivy trailing up the front. The footstone is a small replica of the base of the headstone, which is inscribed "Little Claude."
