My name is Richard N. Wagnon and I was born in Dallas, Texas. My father's name was Dudley Eugene Wagnon, Sr. and my mother's name was Nadeen Lucille Cannon. I have one sister, Mary Lee who married Charles Herndon, two brothers, Dudley Eugene, Jr. who served in the navy in world war II and David Nathan Wagnon. Both of my brothers are deceased, Dudley died Jan. 1953 and David died Feb. 2, 2001. All of us were born in Dallas, Texas.
My fathers mother's name Mary Lou Mayfield and his father was Richard Lee Wagnon.

  He came to the United States sometime during the 1840 to 1850 and first came to Bridgeport, Conn. Mary Elizabeth Simms, from Chippin Norton, England came later, about 3 to 4 years after William came and they were married in Bridgebort, Conn. They later moved to Augusta, GA.
