George is from Virginia, possible brothers or of kin, John Troxell; Joseph Troxell m. Elizabeth Booth 28 Dec 1849; Stephen Troxell m. Precella Aug 21 1839; David Troxell m. Betty Russell, Samuel Troxell.

Sarah Rice's father was Col. Wm M. Rice and her mother, Susanna Moore. Wm M. Rice's will, dated 21 Feb 1821 and probated Apr 1829. Children listed in the will were: a son, Wm Rice, Sally Troxell, Polly Moore, Rachael Aldridge, Druscilla Moore; after death of his wife, Susanna, the farm was to be sold. His brother, Jonathan Rice was executor, witnesses, David Adams, John Dou--ist?

George 2)m. was to Nancy Hammons or Darboe, cannot find a marriage. Nancy was widowed and married 2)m. to Will H. Johnston 17 Oct 1873, 3)m. Henry Blackaby 20 Nov 1884?

I believe the first seven children were by his first marriage.
