Wanderley Family of Brazil

Updated November 10, 2005

About Our Family Research

The brazilian Wanderley family has its origins in the first half of the XVII Century, when Gaspar v. Neuenhof v. der Ley came to Brazil as a cavalry captain of the troops that ensured the Dutch dominion of Brazil during the period 1624 to 1654. After the Portuguese expelled the Dutch, Gaspar decided to stay in Brazil and there gave origin to the large brazilian Wanderley family. The internet page of the brazilian Wanderley family can be found at the link below.

I am carrying on, with the invaluable help of the German researcher Robert Czoelner, a research on Gaspar v. der Ley origins. The research texts can be accessed directly from the internet through the link below.

From the Wanderley family webpage other internet pages containing information about the family can be accessed.
