My Family has a Book of our history called the (translated) Clan / Tribe and Family History Book The Family Dorner Lahrer Line
It was written by Emil Dorner in 1930 and covers the Christian Dorner, Angel landlord in Schiltach Germany (1605 - 1675) Line.
My mother and I have been translating the book the best we can sence neither of us speak, or reads German, and they changed the Alphabet in the 1940's from what is used in the book but we have done pretty well I think.
The Sherman Side of my Family Had researched their linage long before I started this and I went with their findings.
The McCarty Side I have found from only one web site were I found a draft card of my Gr Grandfathers that told his birthplace.
The White side I found from the same web site were I found censuse from 1850 to 1920.
