My name is Carol Ward (nee Paton). I have been researching my Paton family for about 6 years and have successfully traced back to my great, great, grandfather William Paton born 1844 in England. I have researched through the LDS records, family documents and relatives in England as well as many wonderful friends through the Internet that have helped me a great deal. My goal is to go back as far as Captain John Paton, the Covenanter born in the 1600's in Scotland. I have much to do yet but have made great stides in the information I have discovered thus far.
