I am David Alexander Ward, Jr. of Richmond, Virginia, descended from my father also of Richmond, his father Howard Alexander of Richmond, his father Howard O'Neill of Albemarle, his father Alexander Ward of Buckingham, and his father John Ward of Buckingham/Albemarle (it is thought.)

This is as far back as I have gone in my paternal line. At that, I have hit a wall of sorts and am looking for that piece of info that will get me through it.
