I began searching my family roots in 1971 and have amassed a goodly amount of people.
I have had the most trouble with finding people in Ireland before the Famine. I did locate one Catholic parish with records and I got some great records.
I have some brick walls that I am still trying to climb, and wil keep at it forever if needed.
I also researched the female ancestors in my lines.
The name Deiana is spelled Daini in Italy, but when my grandfather went to school, they spoke no english and this is how his name was written and as his siblings followed they kept it Deiana--hard to figure but true!
