I BECAME INTERESTED IN GENEALOGY ABOUT FIVE YEARS AGO AT AGE 78. My mother had done some family research and was a member of The Society of Mayflower Descendants, The Lees of Virginia Society, The Colonial Dames and the DAR. Her papers were of great help to me in researching my heritage. Also I received much assistance from the Filson Club and the Library of the Sons of the American Revolution - Both headquarted in my home town of Louisville, Ky.
