This site is to gather information on my geneology for my children and grandchildren. I was born July 11, 1954 in Spartanburg, SC to Joseph Bertram Ruff and Iva Amelia Holland Ruff. I was the only child of this union, however, both parents remarried and bore 4 more children (each). My daddy married Nancy Burson and they had Jeanne, Joey (Joseph B.,Jr.),Joycelyn, and Jennifer. My mom had a child, Laurie Gaye Jan. 16,1962 and then married Harry E. Ross in 1963. They had Angela Ann(Oct.1,1965), Richard Scott(Nov. 5,1966)and Elizabeth(Betsy)Inez (Jul. 12,1971). Angie and Richard were born in Trinidad, West Indies while Harry was stationed there in the Navy. Laurie, Betsy and I were all born in Spartanburg, SC. I married Leighton Wilson Warren III and we have two sons, Leighton Matthew (b. Apr. 12, 1977)(married to Carrie Ann Whittlesy in 2001) and Joseph Ross (b. Feb. 6, 1982). We are awaiting the birth of our first grandchild Anna Claire.
