My Mother's name is Sally Mae Slay Married name Brodnick; My Father's name Frank William Smith Jr. I was adopted by my Father's Parents John Frank Smith in 1950. In Dayton , Ohio I want to know more about My Mother Family Herman Slay & Linda Christina Slay. They lived in Glouster,Ohio The county of Athens. I would like to know more about My father's Parents, John & Fannie M. Smith My gr. Father was born in Honeywell Ky April 1th 1907. My gr. Mother Fannie M Smith was born Sept. 28th 1909 in Gardener, Mass. Her parents were from Finland. I know the Gr. Parents lived in Red Town, Ohio & was married July 17th 1925? Moved to Dayton, Ohio in 1943. I have been trying to find out about My Father's Mother Parents. Whom come from Finland. I don't know when they came to US sometimes in the early 1900. His name was Otto Hanning. I don't know my gr. mother's name. They also lived in Glouster, Ohio County of Athens. Where he Died in 1950. He was a Master Carpenter by Trade. Spoke very little English. My Grandmother Fannie Mitalda Hanning Smith went to 2 schools Fin School & US school in Gardener Mass. Where she also went to school in Red Town Ohio.
