My maiden name was Parkin. Through my father's line I have traced my roots back to a the family of Leybourne who came over with the Conqueror and were prominent in the Courts of the Kings and Queens of England. I would be interested to hear from anyone with the names of Parkin, Haswell, Chapman and Leybourn.
