I've been very lucky. Two different people have submitted to me complete family trees for my Warfield branch. It is accurate, complete, and required very little input on my part. Kudos to Richard Warfield Faber who seems to be the family historian. The Warfields are traceable back to the 1400's in England and have always been historically an important family in American history. This may be why they are more easily traced than my other family members. My mother's family were the Goggans. Her father was Major Elmer Frederick Goggans of Arkansas and Iris Mary Greenlund of Nova Scotia. As far as I can tell, the Goggans have always lived very quiet lives and they are much more difficult to research than the Warfields. Both the Warfields and Goggans trace some roots and have intermarried with Irish families, most notably the Lytle, Harvel, Rutledge, and Ryan families. Also we find the German and Prussian Wollams and Ridenours here. The family has strong ties to Catholic, Methodist, Puritan and Quaker roots. I love to share info. If any of these people sound familiar, please contact me. I have thousands of old photos, quite a few that I know are family but do not know exactly who and where.
