We are searching for information about Andrew Jackson Selvidge who was born in Missouri about 1875. He served in the Phillipine Islands during the Spanish-American War, and died in 1918 during the Flu epidemic at Brush, Colorado.
Andrew J.Selvidge was married to Altha Ann (McCrite) who was born about 1880 in Missouri, and also died in 1918 during the Flu epidemic at Brush, Colorado. Together, they had four children: Claude Clarence, DOB:1901,DOD:1971, Lawrence, DOB:1908, DOD:1919, Gladys Evelyn, DOB:5/26/1910 (still living).
The father of Andrew Jackson Selvidge is John Selvidge. We don't have a midle name yet. His mother is Mary Jane. We don't know her middle name or her maiden name. Mary Jane's DOB:1855. We don't know place of birth. POD:Missouri. John Selvidge was born in France. No DOB or DOD, but he fought in the Union Army during the American Civil War.
Any help would be appreciated. I am trying to have some family history to present to my mother-in-law on her 91st birthday, May 26th 2001.
