John Leech (son of David Leech) was born 1734 in Ireland, and died 1799 in Spartansburg County, South Carolina. He married Sarah (Collins ?) Leech.
Notes for John Leech: Resided first in Pennsylvania then migrated to the Fourth Creek settlement in western North Carolina, then to South Carolina. He served in the Revolutionary War as a Private under Captain Joseph Calhoun, 1780-1783 in South Carolina. DAR # 587899
