I have wondered for many years about my family and have just started looking for them. I know almost all my relatives except my maternal grandfather. I know that his name is Wade Freeman DAVIS and that he was born in Anderson, South Carolina. He was in the Army in 1950 when he met and married my grandmother, Joyce Patricia CRONIN, in Leavenworth, Kansas. Nine months later, my mother, Martha Jean Davis, was born without the benefit of her father's presence. He left them and later returned stating that he was ill. Several years later, my grandmother was contacted that Wade DAVIS was deceased. Two female relatives of Wade DAVIS visited his wife, they had found his marriage license, which was a surprise to them for he never told anyone he was married. Wade DAVIS died in the late 1950s and was buried in South Carolina in the family plot under the famiy name, which is unknown (DAVIS is not the family name.) I would like to contact any relatives of Wade DAVIS so that I may add their names to my family tree and discover any family illnesses that maybe hereditary.
