Fire at Rock House Hollow WV kill’s four people on Dec 15,1957 Frances Eugene Watkins age 32 b Oct 22,1922 was kill included was his two Daughter’s Frances Watkins age 12 and Cindy Watkins age 11 died as well as a step Uncle Billie York. Surviving was his wife Zonna Ruth Bell-Watkins b July 26,1925 d Nov 20,1984 three other daughters Liven Effie Mae Watkins- Adams b Jan 19 1945, Liven Zonna L Watkins-Chapin b Dec26, 1949 and L Elsie M Watkins - Welch. b April 8,1950.
Zonna Watkins was hospitalizes for 6 months and lost her arms believe that she may never walk again Two of the children Zonna L Watkins and Elsie M Watkins was in Hospital for a month with burns on there arms and legs. Effie M Watkins was not hurt during the fire and lives with Grandparents at this time. It was never said what cause the fire if it was set or how it started. To this day no one knows what happen nor why this happen.
