Henrich Jacob Weller (born to Georg Daniel Weller and Christina Klinkert on 31st August 1813) married Maria Elizabeth Kraemer (born to Johann Jacob Kraemer and Katherina Gobel on 16th November, 1819) in Alertshausen, Westphalia Germany 22nd October,1837. The two elder sons Johann George Jakob(Jakob came on the La Rochelle in 1862 and later married Elizabeth Goebel) and Johann George (21/8/1842 - 6/10/1918)(came on the Alster in 1863 and married Emilie Kries (16/5/1840 - 4/11/1913) who came on the La Rochelle in 1862)came to Australia first and were followed by the rest of the family which included Maria Elise (Elizabeth), Catherine and Louisa in 1866 on the Beausite. Henrich and Elizabeth both went back to Germany as it was too hot here. They both died in the late 1890's. Jacob and Johann settled in the Wellers Hill district of Brisbane, where they were timber cutters, and farmers. Johann walked from there across the Victoria Bridge to Eagle Farm (as it was then) to court "the widow woman" Emilie Kries (Carl Kries - Wilhelmina Kolberg) whos husband Fredrich Winkle had died leaving her with two young sons. He walked there every Friday night and was back in time for work on Monday morning.They had three sons, Johann George,(George) Johann Jakob George (Jacob) and Heinrich Jakob Georg (Henry) and a daughter, Amelia.
