| About Our Family Research |
|
My family research began with my great aunt Kate Noble who had left behind her extesive research into the Noble family genealogy. She did her research in the 1920s, 30s and 40s, almost exclusively through letter writing. It was a slow process compared to the relatively easy work I have done on the computer and internet. I have found her work to be very accurate and well researched. Her findings were backed up by other sources. The other families in my tree are from published and unpublished genealogies by members of the following families: Knapp Wells McCullough Morse Darling
My brother, Charles H. Wells Jr. did alot of the Wells research. Through his efforts, decendents of my Granfather and his brother have learned of each other's existance and shared family information for the first time since their estrangement almost 100 years ago.
