My great -great-great grandfather Daniel Ballew and his wife Mary Harriet Jackson Ballew came to Murray County ,Georgia in the 1830's from North Carolina. They help found what is called the Ball Ground Community in Murray County. They are buried in the Ball Ground Cemetery. Their son, my great grandfather, John Jackson Ballew and his wife Barbara Matilda Ingle Ballew are also buried there. My grandfather, Landrum Licha Ballew and his wife Flora Jane Brooks Ballew are buried in the Chatsworth Heights Cemetery in Murray County and my parents Glenn Columbus and Virginia June Green Ballew are buried in the Harrison Chapel Cemetery in Murray County. I and three of my four brothers have lived here all of our lives. I have one brother that lives in Texas. Cindy Ballew Wells
