I've always been interested in genealogy, and have stepped up my efforts in the past few years. Much of my initial information came from grandparents and other immediate relatives, but my first real breakthroughs have been made online, with the help of hundreds of other genealogists. I use the information obtained by my family and via the internet as clues to possible hard research paths (census images, birth/marriage/death documents, etc.). Most of all I enjoy coming across photographs and anecdotes concerning my ancestors.
