Research has been done and is continuing on both sides of my husband's and my family. Names we are looking for include Werner, Crossgrove, Seybold, Gillespie, Cusack, Kavanagh, Wyse, Potes, Kriger (Kreiger, Krieger), Tillotson, Pooley. My sister has accomplished a lot of our side of the family's roots. I have found a lot of information on my husband's side. My son Jon helps me occasionally and I will pass the torch to him one day!
The Charles F. Crossgrove family still meets in October of every year in Fulton County, Ohio. Some of us meet monthly for breakfast in Archbold, Ohio. He had 8 children, 28 grandchildren and countless great and beyond!
Update June, 2011: We are still meeting for breakfast in Archbold, Ohio every month. There are 2 aunts still living from Charles' 8 children, and several of his grandchildren attend also. We meet the last Sunday in October for our annual family reunion.
I have found a lot of information on my husband's genealogy. My problem has been finding any research beyond the US. I found my GG grandmother and her parents coming over from Ireland in 1847.
