I have been researching my family tree for about 5 years now. I have found so much info right here online. I have met many distant relatives who have shared their information with me. I am now currently working on my husband's side of the family, which is a bit more challenging than my was. I think this hobby is an important one for me as I would like to pass on this tree to the younger generations in our family. It's important to know exactly where you came from, and how life is much easier for us today, than it was for our ancestor's. My surnames are are from Eastern Kentucky area and Ontario as well as Michigan. My surnames are as follows...Moore, Hinkle, Horn-from Martin County, Kentucky. Compton, Coleman, Newsome, Holt, Roberts from Pike County, Kentucky. Wheatley, Dodge, Tobias and Smith from Ontario, Canada and Michigan. I hope to add more to this page, as I become more educated on what I'm doing with this computer!
