Guests were the Sylvan Grove teachers, Mrs. Towne, honoree; Misses Josie Pugh, Ethel Wright and Mrs. Josie Gladden. It was a successful little party and delicious refreshments were served. Mrs. Towne was one of our very successful Beverly teachers and has been teaching in Sylvan Grove ever since leaving here. Mrs. Towne is leaving to make her home in Washington.
