John Wick(born 1661?)of Southampton, Long Island NY married Temperance Barnes. His father is believed to be Henry Wickham of Chipping Sodbury England. Several Letters and documents refer to him as John Wickham and John Wick in the same letter. Our further research takes us from Long Island to New Jersey and then to Pennsylvania. In Pennsylvania an Elisha Wick sends his sons to Armstrong Co and Butler County Pennsylvania. From there the children of John Wick and Elizabeth Fergeson make their way to Putnam County West Virginia. The following generation of John Dale and Margaret Dobson stay for at least two generations. The oldest son of Jeremiah Franklin Wick(son of John Dale) and Mary Melissa Rudolph, David Rudolph Wick, moves to Deep Run Ohio, Marries Harriet Elizabeth French and settles in Deep Run Ohio near the Ohio River.
