Because of missing parish books, I cannot find the parents of Gottlieb Bouvain and so I cannot affiliate him to other Bouvain-families whom I found in East Prussia.
Gottlieb married Henriette Cyplies/Ziplies 28 October 1812 in the ev. church of Jodlauken. Both were 26 yrs old, which means that Gottlieb was born about 1786. Henriette's birth date is known: 11 January 1787 in Berszienen; she was baptized in Jodlauken.
Unfortunately, Gottlieb's parents and the place of his birth were not stated when he married.
As several parish books are missing, I cannot find his parents nor most of his children.
His first child was Leopoldine Susanne, born 30.08.1813 in Gudehlen, and his youngest son was Samuel Eduard, born 15.04.1823, also in Gudehlen. Gottfried possessed an estate there, which he seems to have inherited from his father-in-law.
Perhaps there is somebody somewhere who has got familypapers from which these missing dates could be made up?
