Leonard Robertson b.July 17, 1787 in Collessie, Fife, Scotland, (my gggrandfather) m. Catherine Mabille (Mobell, Monbell) b. Feb. 1800 Valenciennes, Nord, France both d. Tingwick, Canada. Catherine's father was Thomas Mabille, his parents Jean and Marguerita.
Leonard and Catherine raised 10 children; Alice, James, Robert, William d. infancy, George, Isabella (Isabel), Thomas, Catherine, John Kain, and Leonard. The first 5 b. in Scotland, the rest in Canada.
Alice, Robert, and John Kain,married into the Terry family, Galen, Emma and Nancy. Nancy's parents, William Terry and Lucy Degoosh.
John Kane Robertson (my ggrandfather) raised 11 children, Lewis W., Arthur V., Samuel G.,Alphonzo, Emma M. and Addie E. by 1st wife Nancy Terry. Minerva A., Ida F., Sophronia M., Eva, and George by 2nd wife Henrietta Huntly after Nancy's death in Boone, Iowa.
Samuel G. (my grandfather) b.1859 in Troutbrook, Tingwick, Canada m. Sarah Endora Carpenter of Fond du lac, WI, daughter of Aaron Carpenter and Olive Evans.
Isabella Young Robertson m. Alexander Robertson b. 1853 son of William Robertson of Scotland,and Flora Kincaid.
