I am researching the descendants and ancestors of Mathias Jonathan WIEHL aka Matthew John WIEHL who was born in Baden, Germany,1829; died in Glencoe, MN in 1907. The WIEHL name is
not as rare as I once thought it was. There is even a town
by that name near Cologne, Germany. Of course, there have been
spelling variants and some mistakes in spelling on old records.
For instance , my great2 grandfather Mathias WIEHL, the subject
mentioned before, had his name spelled WEAL on his marriage
record in 1852 Clay co MO where he wed his lst wife: Sarah
WALKER, dau. of John WALKER and Telitha TIPTON Walker......I would like to hear your queries or data for this page re this
