William C. McDoniel was suppose to have arrived in America (VA) from Scotland in 1802 married Mary Whitlock and had 12 children. Moving to Arkansas via TN somewhere around 1837 or later. I have some info about all children. I am a g-g-g-granddaughter of William and Mary (thru son Edward H.) Cannot find any reference of them being in Scotland. His father and mother were Malcolm Charles McDoniel and Margarete Forsth. Maybe they came from Ireland!!!! Maybe name was spelled another way!!! Would like any additional info on family "McDoniel"
