This site is dedicated to my daughter -- Arianne DeCuir -- and her French-Canadian ancestors. Those principally documented include the families of Payette(Payet), St. Amour, Boucher(Busha), and Tasse(Tossy), with reference to Beaulieu(Bolio) and Menard(Miner). Virtually all of these families originated in France, began new lives in Montreal and Lower Canada, and moved on to Detroit.

My focus in this site has been to tell the larger story of many of the individuals, providing more detail over a longer period of time. In this way I hope we can better remember them and the many adventures they undertook to bring us to current day.

I have quite a bit of information on these families, and welcome serious inquiry from those similarly interested -- MW
